Set the locale property to categorize your content Updated April 21, 2025 18:59 Technology connects us globally, but managing information across countries and languages can be overwhelming. The locale property simplifies this by supporting up to 20 language versions and categorizing content with specific metadata. Adding locales to files and Pages lets you localize your Showpad instance, ensuring users see content relevant to their location, language, and expertise. This feature integrates seamlessly with Content Profiles for Dynamic Content Filtering, eliminating the need to duplicate Experiences to address local needs. You can filter by the specific regional tags you already use and update them in bulk to the Locale property. In the Files or Pages library, click the Tags filter and select the tag(s) you want to replace with a locale. When you begin typing, suggested existing tags will appear to select. Select the assets with the tags you want to replace with a locale. You can mass-select by choosing the box in the menu bar. Click Edit. Scroll to the Locale section and choose the Add new action for Languages and/or Countries. Search and select the Languages and/or Countries that apply to the assets. You can bulk edit to remove the tag by repeating these steps and editing the tag instead of the locale. Now, your users can find assets by language and country instead of by tags alone.
