Navigate to the Experiences library and select New Experience. Build your structure by adding nodes in the Experience Builder. Upload an icon for your node. Link content to the node: Pages that show product information Assets from your Files library A website URL Another node Customize your design with icons, logos, and colors to match your company's branding. Save the Atom Experience. Assign the Atom Experience to specific users and user groups. See how sellers use the Atom Experience to guide a conversation. Do this step by step Navigation in the Atom experience is done by clicking or tapping on nodes. You can think of these nodes as folders and Pages that guide your user during the sales conversations. We'll start by creating these nodes in the Experience Builder. Build the Atom Experience On the Libraries tab, select Experiences from the Distribution section and then click New Experience. Provide an Experience name, then select Atom Experience. Click Create. The Experience Builder will open. You'll see two tabs: Navigation: This is where you create the nodes, change their colors or icons, and link to your content. Design: This is where you can change the look and feel of the Atom template. In Navigation Layout, click the + icon and give your node a logical Name. This is your first parent node. Once the parent node is created, the Node Configuration window opens. Here, you can: Change the background color of the icon. Upload a custom (transparent) .png file. The node color will change depending on which node the user visits. For best results, upload a .png file of 100x100px. It's not mandatory to use an icon. You can, instead, work with a background color to visualize a node. Link content to the node if is is not a parent node. (Pages, files, a website URL, another node). Add child nodes by clicking the + icon next to a parent node in the Navigation Layout window. You can create an empty node to serve as a folder to group your products. Your next child node can be another folder where you can link to a Page, Asset, URL, or another node. You can continue adding nodes by clicking the + icon. When creating new child nodes, make sure to open them before adding more nodes inside them. To rearrange the structure, drag and drop the nodes where you want them within the Navigation Layout window. To delete a node, hover over it in the Navigation Layout window and click the trash icon. This will remove any links to content from that particular node. When prompted, click Yes to proceed with the deletion. Once your structure is complete, you can click Preview to see how it looks for your users. Back to Top Link content to nodes In the Node Configuration window, enable Link content by clicking the toggle. This allows you to link to a Page, asset, URL, or another node. In the Content Configuration window, select the content type for the node to point to: Page: This will link to a Page you've created. Search and select a Page from your Pages library. Learn more about creating visually appealing Pages here. Asset: This will link to an asset in the Division you're working in. Search and select a file from your Files library. Node: This will link to another node in your Atom Experience. Search and select a node. URL: This will link to a URL that can lead users to an external web page. Enter a URL. Back to Top Design Click the Design tab to open a Navigation window where you can change the global design settings for your Atom Experience. To see how it looks after modifying the colors, click the Preview button at the top right. You can also see your changes in real-time in the Preview window. You can download Photoshop and Illustrator templates at the bottom of this article. Logos: Upload header logo: The header logo is displayed on all nodes except for the Home node. Upload home logo: The home logo is the logo displayed in the center circle of the home node. We recommend using a .png file of 100px. Note: It's also possible to upload a .gif as a logo. See the Supported file types article for more information. Page Style: Upload a background image or define a background color. You can choose one or two colors to mix in the background. When mixing two colors, both colors are applied following a radiant. One color is used for the middle, and the other is used for the surroundings. The background stays the same no matter which node is visited. There is also a principle of inheritance of the background. The background of a parent node is applied to all child nodes unless a specific background is uploaded in a given child node. As soon as a child node becomes the parent, the same principle applies again. Breadcrumbs: These are reminders of the sections and subsections the user is currently visiting. The user can navigate back to the current and previous sections by clicking or tapping a breadcrumb. This is where you can change the background and font colors. The color you select here will be used as the default color when creating new nodes and will not affect nodes that have already been created. Preview: This window shows the layout of the navigation. Click Save Experience when done. Back to Top Assign access to the Experience Click on the Experience in the Experiences library. From the Experience details panel, click the pencil icon in the User access section. Click in the Assigned user group(s) field, then search for and select the user groups you want to assign to the Experience. The total number of selected groups is listed in the field. You can review the group names listed below. You can also click in the Assigned individual user(s) field to search for and select individual users. Back to Top Start sharing content Your users can start sharing content when opening this Showpad Experience. Navigating back can be made in two ways: Click the X on the left side of the center node. Use the breadcrumb and click on the previous navigation section. The application's top right corner has a fullscreen button that can also be used to exit fullscreen mode. On a smartphone, Experiences look slightly different due to the screen size of your device. Note: When users exit Showpad after browsing three levels deep, users will be directed back to the Atom home screen when reopening Showpad.
