Enable and share with the Showpad for Outlook 365 add-in Updated November 29, 2023 13:38 With the Showpad for Outlook 365 add-in, users can find their Showpad content in their email composer. You can browse and share content from your classic Experiences, Collections, and My Files with insights tracking, while still accessing the benefits of using your email provider, such as a custom signature, HTML capability, and more. If you're unsure where specific files are located off-hand, use the advanced search option to quickly grab which assets you want to add to your share. When sending your content to multiple recipients through Outlook 365, it's technically not possible to see which contact opened your share, as it's only possible to track one email address. However, in your Share tab in Showpad, you'll see which devices and which browsers were used while viewing your shared content. Once you share content via Outlook 365, you will not have the option for Forward Copy to other recipients in the Showpad Shares tab. Supported versions: Outlook 2013, 2016, 2019 or later on Windows Outlook 2016, 2019 or later on Mac The quick way to awesomeness Add the Showpad for Outlook 365 add-in Compose a new email and use the Showpad extension to add content Do this step by step From the email compose screen, click the Get Add-ins option. Search for Showpad for Outlook, then click Add. Alternatively, navigate to this page and click Get it now. Log in to your Office 365 account and confirm by clicking Continue. Note: If you don’t have access to the Microsoft store, contact your Showpad Administrator or your IT department. You will now have the Showpad for Outlook add-in in your toolbar. Click the three dot menu and select Showpad for Outlook to open it. To add the Showpad App to your toolbar, navigate to Settings, then Customize Actions. Check the box for Showpad for Outlook and click Save. When you first open the add-in, you will be prompted to log in. Click Get Started. Add your organization's subdomain, then authenticate your account in the log in pop-up. In the Sharing Options section, select your settings. Choose if you want to allow recipients to download the shared content, and if you want to log the activity to your CRM. Next, choose a Sharing theme. All the assets opened by your prospects will be hosted in the Asset Viewer branded by your selected theme. Once done, click the caret icon to collapse the Sharing Options menu. In the Add Content section, browse for content within your Experiences, Collections, or My Files. You cannot browse content from your Advanced Experiences. Alternatively, use the search option to find and select specific content. While browsing your Experiences, Collections, or My Files, select the assets you want to include in the message by checking the boxes, then click Insert items. Assets will be inserted into the email body as links. While browsing through your assets, click the three dot menu next to one of them, and choose Select pages to share only chosen pages from the presentation. Click Preview to open the asset in the Showpad web app. To use the search bar, start typing the name of an asset you wish to include, then select and insert it. Note: The following BCC address is added to the email for activity tracking purposes: outlook-add-in@plugins.showpad.biz. When removed, tracking of your share will be disabled. Send your email with the included Showpad asset links once ready. Here is an example of how the shared assets will look for your prospects. The style of the page depends on the selected sharing theme. As soon as you send the asset links via email, Showpad creates a share for you.
