Track account activity with Account Insights Updated October 28, 2026 07:00 Walk into every customer conversation knowing where the account stands. Account Insights brings an account's meetings, Shares, and Shared Space activity together on one page, so you don't have to piece it together from your CRM, inbox, and memory. Accounts are based on your CRM records. They can be any type of CRM record your administrator has enabled for your CRM, such as accounts, contacts, leads, or opportunities. You add them to Account Insights when you or your teammates log a meeting, Share, or Shared Space to a CRM record. Each account, with linked Showpad engagement items, includes an AI-generated summary of what you should know, a timeline of activity, your next meeting, and the content you've shared. Back to top Understand how accounts and visibility work Use Account Insights to find the accounts you and your organization work with, see what's happened with each one, and keep its activity connected in one place. Accounts are shared. Your activity is yours. Every seller in your organization sees the same list of accounts. What you can see on each account depends on whether you’re part of each linked item: Meetings: Only the organizer sees the details. Being invited doesn’t give you access. Shares: Only the person who sent the Email Share or Link Share sees its details. Shared Spaces: Every participant sees the details. To give a teammate access, invite them to the Shared Space. Showpad engagement items you aren’t part of appear without details and are marked Not shared with you. Accounts are added automatically. When you relate a meeting, an Email Share, a Link Share, or a Shared Space to a CRM record, that record appears on the Accounts page with the item already linked. This works for any CRM record type enabled for your organization, such as accounts, contacts, leads, and opportunities. Account Insights doesn’t import records from your CRM on its own. Records are only added when someone logs an item or adds an account. The first person to add an account, either by relating an item to the CRM record or by adding the account manually, becomes its owner. Accounts you own appear in your My Accounts list. One meeting can add more than one account. If you relate a meeting to an opportunity and invite a CRM contact, the opportunity and the contact are added to the list as separate accounts. Each account is one CRM record. If two CRM records have the same name, such as two contacts, they appear as separate accounts. Check the Type column or click Open in CRM to tell them apart.
