Enable the Showpad connector for Sales solution in Microsoft 365 Copilot

The Showpad eOS plugin for Sales in Microsoft 365 provides buyer engagement insights in a seller's workflow. Sellers can spend less time searching and more time selling using AI-powered assistance. Within their Copilot for Sales modal, users can see Showpad engagement insights to help them craft tailored follow-up emails.

You need this to succeed

Do this step by step

1. Navigate to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. In the menu, go to Settings and select Agents. Click the All Agents tab. 
2. Search for Sales and click to open the app info. 
3. Click Deploy app.
4. The app can be deployed to just you, the entire organization, or specific groups. Select an option, then click Next. Follow the prompts to Finish Deployment. 

Log into your CRM in the Sales side panel
 

1. In Outlook, open a received email. Click Apps and select Sales.
2. Click the Sign In button to log in to your CRM. Choose your provider and follow the prompts to log in.
    

Confirm the Sales settings in Outlook

1. Navigate to the Sales Settings tab. 
2. Under the Environment section, click Copilot AI.
3. Ensure Copilot AI is toggled on, and the checkboxes are all enabled. 
4. Click Save.

Copilot Studio Configuration

1. Open Copilot Studio and select the correct environment using the Environment button at the top right.
   The listed environments are the same from the PowerPlatform. The default environments do not have the Dataverse enabled. Copilot for Sales does not support these environments, as Dataverse is required. 
2. Click Agents from the side menu and open the Copilot for Sales agent.
3. Open the Manage tab and click the Enable Plugins button.
4. Select Showpad eOS - Power Platform Connector from the list. 
5. Toggle the Enable Plugin option to Yes. Select the relevant Assigned users option, then click Save.
6. Users will now see a card in the Copilot for Sales modal promoting them to sign in to get more insights from the Showpad Plugin. They will click the Sign in button and complete the authentication flow.
