Share Showpad content with Marketo Updated January 06, 2025 21:51 Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app. Include Showpad content as advanced dynamic links in your Marketo email templates and campaigns to gain better visibility into individual recipient engagement. When a lead interacts with content they receive, the activity will be tracked to the lead owner’s email address if they have a Showpad account. If the lead doesn’t have an owner with a Showpad email address, the activity will link to the Showpad account of the person who sent the link. Each recipient of the Share receives a unique link to allow tracking activity per recipient. The unique advanced dynamic link includes variables to detect the lead or prospects and the lead owner’s email addresses. Tip: When viewing Shares in Marketo: unless you add firstName and lastName query parameters, a Marketo Share will show as "Someone viewed ..." without identifying the user.To prevent this, add the following to the copied URL.?emailAddress={{lead.Email Address}}&sender={{lead.Lead Owner Email Address}}&firstName={{lead.First Name}}&lastName={{lead.Last Name}} Note: If you add the email address of another user in the sender parameter instead of the Lead Owner email, the other user must have access to all the content shared to see the lead activity in their Share insights. If not, the activity will appear on the Lead Owner Insights. Learn how this feature works in the current Online Platform.
