Whether prospecting, product knowledge, or negotiation, each sales cycle stage demands different competencies to create an impactful buyer experience.To improve your performance in your role, it's a good idea to reflect on what you excel at and what skills you'd like to develop. By joining your manager in assessing your Competencies, you can map a clear path for growth. Submit a self-assessment of the Competencies associated with your role. Take Courses applicable to your Competencies. Review your manager's assessment of your Competencies. Choose your success platform Web App Windows Desktop See how it's done on the Web app Hover over the Coaching tab and select My Competencies. To begin your assessment, click Start assessment on the top right and choose Start on the pop-up window that appears. If you have multiple roles, select the role to assess by clicking the caret next to the role. Select a rating level between 1 and 5 by hovering over the bar and clicking on the scale that best represents your proficiency in the Competency. Optionally add comments to elaborate on your choice. Click Next to rate another Competency. You can return to a Competency you've already rated by selecting it in the list on the left or by clicking Back. Change your rating by clicking on the scale that represents your new rating. The assessment auto-saves as you complete it. If you want to save your ratings and continue them later, click the X in the upper right corner. To proceed with the assessment, click Continue assessment. To cancel and clear your self-assessment, click the bin icon in the upper right corner and confirm on the pop-up. When you're satisfied with your evaluation, click Submit. You’re shown Course recommendations to continue your development. Select a Course to start your training or click See all courses to review the relevant learning opportunities. View your assigned Courses associated with your role's Competencies. You can filter the list by Course status or Competency. Click View to the right of a Course to see details and begin learning. Once both you and your manager have submitted an assessment, a message will be displayed at the top of the page. Click View assessment history to review them. Compare your manager's evaluation to your own and read their comments. To consider your other assessments for this role, click the directional arrows on the left and right of the date. After you and your manager complete an assessment, your manager's current ratings of your Competencies are displayed. An orange caret represents the organizational average score for each Competency in the role. If your organization uses a Salesforce integration, you can see a revenue indicator next to the Competency that most correlates to high sales performance. You'll also see a chart of your course progress per Competency. The gray bar represents all Courses linked to the Competency. The striped bar indicates the number of your assigned uncompleted Courses. The solid bar shows the number of Courses you have completed. The orange caret indicates the organizational average number of Courses completed per competency. Click on a Competency to see details about the current score your manager gave you, your Course progress, and recommended assigned Courses. Click a Course to open it.
