Take follow-up actions with Field Seller Agent

The quick way on the Web App

1. Navigate to Shares and then Meetings.
2. Click the relevant meeting to open the overview.
3. In the Field Seller Agent sidebar, choose to Update the CRM or Send a follow-up email.
4. Review, edit, and send the AI-generated content.

Do this step by step

To streamline your post-meeting workflow, use Field Seller Agent to edit and send AI-drafted CRM updates and follow-up emails directly from your meeting overview.

1. Navigate to Shares and then Meetings.
2. Click the relevant meeting to open the meeting overview.
3. In the Recommended Actions sidebar, you'll find suggested follow-up actions such as updating your CRM and sending a follow-up email.

Update the CRM

You can edit and send an update based on the meeting overview. This will be logged in your CRM as a new Task, Event, or Appointment, or as per any custom natural-language instructions provided by your admin to the AI agent.

The update will be linked to the CRM record, such as an Account or Opportunity. If you haven’t linked the Account or Opportunity to the meeting, but it’s mentioned in the linked notes, the AI agent will attempt to find it and include it in the update. 

The Description field in your CRM will include the meeting summary, the assets presented, the contacts, and any related records created and/or linked.

1. To edit the update, click the pencil icon, update the fields, then click Save changes.
2. Click Update now to send the update to your CRM.

Note: Depending on the option enabled by your Showpad administrator (Tasks or Events / Appointments), you can select between capturing the meeting in the CRM as an Event (or Appointment), a Task, or according to any custom natural-language instructions for the AI agent. These instructions can reference any object or field available in your Salesforce instance, e.g., "log events by filling the custom Event Custom Short Notes field on the My Event Capturing Object."

Send a follow-up email

You can edit and send a follow-up email. This draft is generated from the meeting overview. It will also include any content from your Showpad instance presented during the meeting. This can be sent as an Email Share, allowing you to track engagement.

1. Click Edit & Send to adjust the Email Share as you like, then click Send. If you decide not to send the Share yet, click X to save your updated draft.

   Note: If your follow-up email doesn't include content or asset attachments, you'll be asked to either add them or continue sending the email without content via your preferred email client.

2. To copy the message to your preferred messaging client, click Copy.
