Add and manage users and roles Updated October 07, 2026 07:00 Showpad Value Factory uses role-based access to control what each user can see and do in value.showpad.com. Sellers and marketers who access Value Factory through the Showpad extensions are automatically provisioned when they first sign in, so you don't need to add them individually. Use this article to manage users who need direct access to value.showpad.com, such as administrators who manage configuration, integrations, and value model setup. Sign in to Value Factory. 2. Navigate to Settings and select Users. 3. Click + User and assign the appropriate role. 4. Click Save. Do this step by step Understand the available roles Showpad Value Factory has five roles. Choose the role that matches each person's responsibilities. Role Description Admin Full system access including user management, integrations, and organization-level settings. Assign to system administrators who manage the implementation. User - AE/Sales For sales representatives who create and manage their own opportunities. Can create and view all opportunities but can only edit their own. No access to configuration or system administration. User - Marketing For marketing team members who monitor opportunities and analyze landing page activity. Cannot create or edit opportunities but has full visibility and access to reporting, branding, and report configuration. User - Enablement / Product Marketing For product marketing and enablement teams who configure value models, reports, and branding. Full access to all opportunities and configuration tools. No access to integrations or user management. User - Value Consultant For value engineering and consulting teams who work across all opportunities. Can create and edit all opportunities with full reporting access. Has access to value model, report, branding, and embedding configuration, but not system administration. Note: Showpad users without a role in Value Factory can still access and use value models through the Showpad extensions. A role is only required for users who need direct access to value.showpad.com. Navigate to Settings and select Users. Click + Add. Enter the user information: First Name Last Name Email Address Select the user role(s). Click Save. The new user will receive an invitation to set up their account. If Single Sign-On is enabled, confirm they have a linked SSO identity before they sign in. Locate the user in the table, click the three dot menu, and select Edit. Modify the user’s name or role. Note: A user’s email address can not be modified. Click Save. Back to top Remove user access Review user access when responsibilities change. Remove access for people who no longer use Showpad Value Factory. Before removing an Admin account: ☐ Confirm at least two other admins can access value.showpad.com. ☐ If SSO is enabled, confirm that remaining admins have linked SSO identities. Sign in to Value Factory. Navigate to Settings and select Users. Locate the user in the table, click the three dot menu, and select Disable. Back to top
