Understand your Roleplay review scores

Roleplays are designed to help you reinforce what you learn and make it stick. By engaging in frequent, contextual practice, you improve retention and message consistency, building real-world conversation skills and confidence. The Virtual Coach supports this growth by analyzing your performance and providing objective feedback, ensuring you are fully prepared for every customer interaction.

After you submit a Roleplay, the Virtual Coach analyzes your performance to provide objective feedback. Reviewing your scores and transcripts helps you identify strengths and areas for improvement, so you can sharpen your skills for real-world interactions.

Note: Availability of Roleplay AI depends on the AI Bundle included in your subscription. Contact your administrator for more information about AI Bundle eligibility.

The quick way

1. Navigate to the Coaching tab and select My Roleplays.
2. Select a Roleplay with a submitted status.
3. Read the feedback and listen to your recording.
4. Select New response if you wish to try again.

Do this step by step

Access your review

Quickly find your completed submissions and view your results as soon as they’re ready.

1. Click Coaching in the top navigation, then select My Roleplays.

2. Select the Roleplay you want to practice. See this article learn how to practice and submit Roleplays. 

   After you submit a Roleplay take, the Virtual Coach may need a few moments to generate your feedback. You can wait for the page to refresh or click Dashboard to return to your list of Roleplays.

3. When your feedback is ready, the Roleplay status will show Submitted. Select the Roleplay to view your feedback.

Analyze your feedback

Detailed written feedback alongside your performance score pinpoints exactly where you excel and where you can improve.

1. Click Instructions to review the instructions for the Roleplay.
2. To watch or listen to the conversation, click the play icon. 
3. Review the transcript below the player to see the specific dialogue from your take.
4. View your overall score for this submission on the right side of the screen.
5. Below the score, explore your feedback from the Virtual Coach:
   • Learn from the general feedback on your conversation.
   • Each category includes specific feedback along with a score.
   • Hover over the information icon next to a category to see the criteria used for grading.

Submit a new take

Apply the feedback you received to a new attempt to refine your skills and boost your score.

1. Click New response on the review page.
2. Click New take on the overview page to start practicing a new Roleplay scenario.
3. Review the new take and click Submit when ready.
4. To compare different submissions, select the Submission drop-down menu on the review page to toggle between them.
5. Click Dashboard when you are done to return to your list of Roleplays.
