Recipients views - are these the total views of recipients?

So if I share content with my sales colleagues they are recipients.

But what if they share with their customers, the customers are recipients too.

Are recipeints views the total views of my colleagues and their customers ?

  Hi Yvonne,

  Thanks for asking a great question. 

  Correct, Recipient Views is the total number of times a shared piece of content was opened, colleagues + customers.

  To give an example:

  • You share a PDF with a colleague and a customer.
  • Customer A opens the PDF (1 view).
  • The colleague opens the PDF (1 view) and reshares it with Customer B.
  • Customer B opens the PDF (1 view).

  This will give a total of 3 Recipient Views.
