Build my own Experience App
Hi, I have set up an Experience App Environment. All seems to be OK until I try to serve the page using
'showpad experience serve'
The page partially loads, but my content does not because I receive these errors:
bundle.js:1 Error occurred. Error calling the Showpad Api /users/me.json.
Error: Forbidden
Could anyone advise?

Hi Lee,
Thanks for asking this question.
It might be the browser that you're using that is causing this error. Currently, the browser that we support is Google Chrome.
If that's already the one you're using, then a second thing that comes in mind is to make sure to update to the latest version of the Showpad bundle.
A third thing you can check is that the user is set up correctly.
Let us know if this helps you set up the environment.

Hi Cedric. Thanks for your reply. My other question is about sharing. So I have built an experience app and when running in the Showpad environment, if I click the menu bar access button, I would expect the menu bar to appear and display three dots that allows me access to sharing documents in myfiles via a share button. I do not have access to this. Do you have any idea why?
Many thanks

Hi Lee,
Thanks for coming back to this and letting us know how you're building your experience app.
If I understood your message correctly, you opened the experience app on Showpad on your mobile device, and you don't see the three dots that let you access the iOS sharing menu? If this is the case, then it's expected behavior. It's not possible to share an experience app, so these options won't be visible.
If there's something I misunderstood, you can always clarify here and we'll be happy to dive deeper into it.
Have a great day and keep on building. :)

Hi Cedric
You have understood correctly.
We spoke to Michael about having a function that would create a report that uses jsPDF to create a pdf that would upload to the users myfiles which could then be shared via an email routine. He said this is possible, but if you cannot share anything, how is this done?
Best regards

Hi Lee,
Thanks for clarifying that a bit more.
This example on our Help Center can help you create this. It describes how you can push content to a user's personal My Files folder. I'd like to add here that if you want to use this functionality, users need to be online.
I hope this helps!
