This time on... You uploaded your content, structured the assets into Experiences, and created your users. This deserves a virtual tap on the back. When you're done praising yourself, it's time to talk to the people who will use Showpad during their sales interactions. In this episode, you'll see the important features we recommend you explain to your users. Take your time to familiarize yourself with Showpad before sharing this knowledge with your colleagues. Administrators are people too You can take off your administrator hat now. This time it's all about users and how to work with Showpad. You can use your administrator account to sign in as a user. If you're working with the browser, you can switch from the Online Platform to the Web app. See how to sign in to Showpad's Web app as an administrator. The available tools Be sure your users have the best experience when using Showpad. We offer our apps on all major mobile platforms.Understand the requirements for installing the Showpad app. Users can download and install the app on iOS, Android, and Windows. We even offer the Windows Desktop app which is similar to using the Web app on your Windows device! The Showpad app can be downloaded from the available stores on the preferred platforms. Cliché alert: All the good things in life are free. Read about downloading and installing the app. We also offer the possibility to use Showpad on the web browser if a mobile device is not available. Read the introduction to Showpad's Web app. It doesn't stop here. We have good news for users who send emails using Gmail or Microsoft Outlook. You can use our email plugins to select content from Experiences and add assets to the emails. This even includes Outlook 365 through the Showpad for Chrome extension. Repeat after me: Organization, email, password. Users don't only need the email address and password to sign in, but also the organization name. While in most cases the organization name is the same as the company name, there might be a small variation depending on what you used during sign up.Teach your users how to sign in to Showpad. Browse the TV guide You learned previously that the marketing content is organized into channels, just like viewing different content on your television set. Presenting that content is done by tapping or opening the content populated in those channels or so-called Experiences. We have a video that shows you how easy it is to use Experiences. The flow is very much the same for devices on other platforms. See how you can browse the available Experiences. I have found what I'm looking for The previous video explained that you can search for specific content inside the Showpad app. You can also use more extensive search capabilities. This includes searching for content with specific tags and even searching the text within a document. Discover how to use the advanced search to find what you're looking for. Collect what you like A user can add assets into collections. You can see a collection as a box where users store particular content. For a different sales conversation, users might need another box, or collection, of items. Mixing and matching content like documents, document pages, slides, or videos gives your users a lot of possibilities. All the relevant content in one place, resulting in easy navigation during conversations. Read the article about how to create collections. A personal location to manage files It's possible for users to manage a personal channel as well. Users are in full control and can structure files and folders as they want. Like regular Experiences, sales reps have the same Showpad content tracking and sharing abilities. See how a personal channel works by reading this article. Create a Van Gogh on your PDF When presenting content to a customer, users can annotate assets in order to highlight information for their audience. Showpad offers a variety of tools to turn that Powerpoint file into art. However, from a customer's perspective, we suggest the following tip: Less is more. This article describes how to annotate documents. Divide and conquer, Share and distribute One of the foundations of Showpad is the ability to share content with customers and prospects. Showpad provides a variety of sharing possibilities.See how to share content from within the Showpad apps. When users share content, they can track how the recipients engage with it via the information in the share tab. This lets them follow up on all their interactions at any time.You can get information about those sharing activities in this article. Not all sharing methods show the same information. The following article is a nice optional read if you want to know what the difference is between sharing from email plugins and sharing from the Showpad app. This article talks about the different sharing methods. Save time by creating a default email Users can quickly set up a default email body for any files or collections they share. This increases efficiency, allowing to share content more quickly and ensure a seamless follow-up to the sales conversation.To set up a default email body for sharing content, proceed as described here. Change can be hard While we cover the various features users should know, learning can be overwhelming and hard. Take your time to explain what's in it for them and make it easy to understand how it works. Take it up a notch with Shared Spaces Shared Spaces are user-created microsites where they can invite prospects and others relevant to the buyer experience. Within this space, attendees can view pre-selected marketing content and post comments. Activity within these spaces is also tracked so analytics can provide insight into how successful a shared space is in the sales process.
