Previously on Showpad's Onboarding Guide...
In the previous episode, we introduced two of the available Showpad integrations: Salesforce and MS Dynamics. You learned how to set up these integrations and track Showpad activity there.
What will you learn this time
Let's clarify the numbers you see and make sense of the Showpad's statistics. See how reports can show you what marketing content works and what doesn't. The reports section of Showpad's Online Platform allows you, as the all-powerful administrator, to optimize your budget. That's right - based on what content is used the most and your understanding of how sales conversations work, you can customize your content to guide sales reps in their ongoing adventures.
Also, use reporting data to understand trends in how your users complete their learning and coaching assignments. This information can help frame how you approach these initiatives and where more training might be necessary.
Following this guide to reports takes about 60 minutes.
Three ways to see what marketing content works
There are three gems that guide you to a bigger treasure when it comes to Showpad Content.
- We have analytics that displays all the information about your content. This includes both the marketing content you uploaded as an administrator and the content your users uploaded themselves to their personal channel.
Read the full article about content analytics.
- User analytics show you all about the user engagement in Showpad.

- Activity logging for all the users of the organization. Essentially this is what your users see on their share tab. See with whom they shared the content.

Understand data surrounding training and coaching initiatives
Showpad provides a diverse range of configurations so you can consistently access the right details around coaching quickly. Available data is determined from the report type you choose. Save your report formats to be run at a later time. This can be helpful by allowing you to compare datasets over time, perhaps to gauge whether certain changes that were implemented have had an effect on the results.
Privacy options to fit your needs
We understand that some organizations have legal regulations and take privacy very seriously. Yes, it is possible to anonymize the names of your sales users to protect their privacy. All Showpad analytics information will still be visible, but no longer linked to specific individuals. Instead of seeing the name of sales rep Bill Dollar, you"ll see the name Anonymous User in the reports. Make sure the users that need to be anonymous are added to a user group when activating this feature.
This was the last episode...
These episodes were created to guide you through your first Showpad administrator adventures. There are no other secret manuscripts and spells available in these series, but you can always find more answers by searching this Help Center. It's available 24/7 and guides you further through the Showpad world.
Since we all love a good re-run, feel free to watch any of these episodes again by returning to the onboarding index to select your favorites for a second viewing.
