Previously on Showpad's Onboarding Guide...
In the previous episode, we showed you how to set up your users for success by empowering them to complete courses that can improve their sales skills and get them up to date on the latest product offerings. We also covered the user side of using Pitch IQ and what is available in the My Team tab.
This time on...
Let's step it up a notch. We feel that you are ready to explore advanced features in Showpad. Some of these features are found in our higher plans. Some might be a good solution for you, some of them aren't. Here's the menu and choose the dish you like. Yes, you can be greedy and select some Salesforce dressing with that SSO salad.
Depending on what's relevant to you, reading this guide will take around 20 minutes.
May I have your attention, please?
We encourage you to send announcements to let your users know you’ve updated a channel or assets. This will notify them that they should update their Experiences by going online and refreshing the content. Notifications can also be used to send out specific messages to particular users. Be careful with autocorrect fails when sending out company-wide announcements. People might remember for weeks.
Shine your spotlight
Spotlight messages are a feature that allows admins to select up to 7 messages that are displayed on the home screen when a user logs into Showpad. In the Online Platform, you can review the read rate percentage for each spotlight message. In addition, recommended content will appear below any spotlight messages. This content is determined by that particular user's activity and is completely machine-controlled.
So, you want to know all about SSO
If your company is already using an SSO solution to let users sign in, you can leverage that system for Showpad as well.
