Your organization's admin has the ability to limit the fonts available here by defining them in the Pages section of the Admin Settings. Back to Top Gallery Customers on the Ultimate package can add additional gallery blocks to their Pages. Click on the gallery block to open the edit panel. Drag and drop images from your device into the Content section of your gallery block, or select Browse to find and upload the files you're looking for. Currently, you can add up to five images to the gallery. Under the design section, check Fit to block if you want your images to zoom in to fit the block. Depending on the image block size and the size of the image, it may be cropped when selecting Fit to block. Choose whether or not you want margins around the images. Keep in mind that the image gallery will not expand beyond the page maximum width of 1100px, even if no margins are selected. If you have uploaded more than one image, you will see the option to Show Thumbnails. If selected you will have a display navigation of all images in the library with thumbnails showing below the main image. If you have uploaded more than one image, you will also see the option to Automatically transition from one image to the next. If you check this selection, a slider will appear where you will choose the duration between transitions in seconds. To make edits or delete an image from the gallery, hover over the image. You will see an edit icon and a trash icon. If you choose Edit, change the focal point in the image by dragging the box to your desired focal point. The image to the right will preview how this change the appearance of the image. The other option you have while editing an image in the gallery is to attach a link to the image. An image can be linked to an Asset, Page, Experience, or URL. If you would like to link your image, select the type of content you want to link to from the drop-down menu, select the Type if desired, and then search for and select the content. To delete an image from the gallery, hover over the image and click the trash icon. To duplicate the block and its contents, select duplicate at the bottom. When you've finished creating your image gallery, click Save Page. Back to Top Assets Click on the Asset block to open the edit panel. Under the General section, start by adding a title to the asset block. If you'd like to add an Icon to the asset block, toggle the setting on, then drag and drop or browse for your icon to upload. Under the content section, you have the option to add content Manually by searching for assets, or Dynamically, using tags. If you choose Manually, search for the asset you want to upload then select it from the list. It will be added to the section. You can also browse and select assets using a variety of filters by clicking the Advanced option. Choose to filter based on selected File Types, asset properties, Tags, Locale, Author, or Source. You can also use the search function here, or apply a saved filter. Select the assets you wish to add to the page, then click Insert Items. Alternatively, can choose to dynamically filter content by searching tags with the parameters to match all of the tags listed, which will exclude content that doesn’t include all tags. The match any of these tags filter will add results that match any single tag added. Or you can choose which content tags to exclude, by adding them in the match none field. You will see a list of the content now included in your block, and underneath you'll have the option to limit the number of files in the block. To limit the number of files in the block, check the box then add the maximum number of assets you wish to populate. Keep in mind, if more assets match the dynamic filter than the limit set, the additional assets won't be available to the user. In the Settings section, you can choose to: Hide the block for your users if the added content is unavailable for them (note that the layout might change, for example, if multiple blocks are next to each other). Display assets in a grid view or list view. For users, when viewing the Asset block, the order in which assets are displayed is case-insensitive, shows characters and symbols first before filenames that start with a digit, and groups digits together. For example, “a”=“A”, “Asset.PDF” will be displayed before “1Asset.PDF”, and “1Asset.PDF”, “2Asset.PDF” will be displayed before “10Asset.PDF”. Back to Top Pages On shareable Pages, nested Pages are not supported. Click on the Pages block to open the edit panel. You will have the same options to set up your Pages content block as your Asset content block, however, you will be adding a Page. See directions above. Adding an Experience or Page to an existing Page does not mean the user has access to that content automatically. Note: Grant users access to all Pages when using nested Pages. Access is not inherited from the top level. Instead, it needs to be explicitly granted by adding all Pages to an Experience that your users can access. For example, a user cannot open a Page nested in another Page on an Advanced Experience if they don't already have access to the nested Page in the same or another Experience. Verify that users already have access to that Page in an existing Experience. If not, add the Page to a Classic Experience the user has access to and they will also be able to open it in the Advanced Experience. Back to Top Experiences On shareable Pages, nested Experiences are not supported. Click in the Experiences block to open the edit panel. Start by adding a title to the content block, if desired. If you'd like to add an Icon to the asset block, toggle the setting on, then drag and drop or browse for your icon to upload. Under the content section, you can select the type of Experience you would like to add to the Page, which will help filter through available options if you have a large number. In the Experience menu, type in the search for the name of the Experience you want to add to your Page then select it from the drop-down menu. Select Root to select the main folder of the experience. Back to Top Courses Notes: - On shareable Pages, Courses are not visible to sellers or buyers. - Sellers can only see Courses assigned to them from the Coach Library. - Promoted Users must have both the 'Manage Content' and 'Manage Courses & Paths' permissions enabled to create Pages with Courses blocks. Drag and drop the Courses block to the desired area on your Page, and click on the Courses block to open the edit panel. Start by adding a title to the Courses block, if desired. If you'd like to add an icon to the Courses block, toggle the setting on, then drag and drop or browse for your icon to upload. Next, add Courses by searching and selecting them from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, by clicking the Advanced option, you can browse and select Courses using filters based on Owners, Groups and Status. Select the Courses you wish to add to the Page, then click Insert items. In the Settings section, you can choose to display Courses in a grid view or list view. Back to Top Spacers Spacers are added to create some white space between content blocks. Click on your spacer, and use the adjuster to change the height of your spacer within the Page canvas. On mobile, spacers will be intentionally removed to avoid layout issues. Back to Top Buttons Button blocks are used to create buttons on the Page that can link to other assets, Pages, URLs, or Experiences. Drag and drop the button block to the desired area on your page. Start by adding the button text in the Button Text field. Short text is preferable to avoid any getting cut off when window width is reduced. Next, choose if you want to link the button to an Asset, Page, URL, or Experience. If you don't want to link the button to anything, select None. For Asset linking, you can select a file type and then search for the asset. To link to a Page, search and select the Page. If you include an un-shareable Page or asset, the link will not work. For URLs, search and select the URL asset from the drop down menu. To link to an Experience, select the type of Experience and then search for it in the search field. Select the desired option. In the style section, use the slider to make the corners of the button more or less rounded. The further to the right, the more rounded the corners will be. Select a background color, text color, font, and font size. Choose to fit the button to the block, or fit it to the text. The button can’t be smaller than the px of the text. Lastly, select the button alignment (left, center, or right). Note: Button blocks and gallery blocks that link to other Pages or Experiences are not supported within a shareable Page, in the same way that a Page does not nest within another Page. Back to Top Videos Video blocks are used to add embedded Videos on your Pages. Drag and drop the video block from the left side menu into your desired location on the Page. Select a video from your Showpad library using the video asset dropdown menu. Select the playback options. Check the box to have the video Autoplay, play Muted, or play on a Loop. Browsers do not allow videos to autoplay when sound is enabled, so if you select Autoplay, the video will automatically be set to Muted as well. The viewer can choose to unmute the video when viewing. Back to Top In the next article, you read more about styling your Page.
