Set up your Page layout Updated July 03, 2024 15:54 With Showpad's Pages feature, you can design visually appealing Pages with groups of content around a topic or persona. By presenting engaging and contextually relevant Pages, sales reps can provide a better buyer experience. This article explains how to create a Page and the various layouts you can select. See how it works You need this to succeed Showpad Plus or Ultimate package A Showpad admin account The quick way to awesomeness Go to the Assets & Experiences tab in the Library Click Add and select Create Page Give your Page a name and optional tags Select a layout Add content blocks to your selected layout Do this step by step You can create Pages from within your Library. After you've created a Page, you can drag and drop it into the Experience Builder to add to your Experiences. Note: When you add a Page to a Classic Experience, the linked assets are also added to the Experience. In the Online Platform, navigate to the Library and select the Assets & Experiences tab. Click the Add button and select Create Page. Start by adding a name to your Page. To add tags, type in the Tags field and select the ones you want to add. You can also create a new tag by typing what you'd like to call it and selecting it. Set your Sharing and filtering settings for the Page by selecting None, Shareable, or Dynamic Content Filtering. None: When none is selected, no Page filtering will be applied, and the Page will not be shareable. Shareable Pages: When selected, the Page can be shared and viewed externally. Experiences, Courses, Pages, and non-shareable assets are hidden from internal and external viewers. Content Profiles are not applied. Dynamic Content Filtering: When selected, content will be shown or hidden based on the Content Profile associated with the user. This can only be enabled for Pages that are not made shareable. Choose a Template or a style layout for your Page. If you've created templates, they will appear in your Templates tab. Select the one you wish to use, then click Create. For more info on creating Templates, view this article. Alternatively, choose a Layout. Based on your package, you will see varied options, including Header Left, Full Header, Header Right, or Blank Canvas. Each template includes one text content block and one gallery content block. Pages cannot be created in landscape format. Note: Blank Canvas is only available on Showpad's Ultimate package pricing. When using Pages on the Plus package, the headers will be fixed for whichever template you choose, and you will not be able to add additional gallery blocks. Click Create, and your new Page will open. To add content blocks to your Page, drag and drop them onto the canvas. Lines will appear when you drag content blocks to the Page, and you can choose to create a new section or add the block to an existing section.Sections will be used for styling your page later on. You can create up to four columns wide of content blocks, but you cannot resize the width of the blocks. You can create columns by dragging blocks to the left or right edge of an existing block, where the + icon appears.The maximum page width is 1100px, and the maximum margin size is 250px on each side.You can duplicate any content block or section by clicking Duplicate block. This will duplicate the style of sections and any content in blocks. Note: Customers with the Plus package cannot edit or add to the templated section but can add and edit sections underneath it.
