Manage and remove Pages Updated March 05, 2024 19:55 The Pages feature in Showpad allows you to create visually attractive landing pages by organizing content about a topic or persona. This enables sales representatives to deliver a more engaging and contextually appropriate buyer experience by presenting these well-curated Pages. In this article, we explain how to edit and remove a Page. You need this to succeed Showpad Plus or Ultimate package A Showpad admin account A Page or Pages available in your library The quick way to awesomeness Go to Library and Assets & Experiences Go to the Pages section Select the Pages you want to remove, edit or duplicate Use the Trash tab to restore or permanently delete Pages Do this step by step Editing a Page Editing Page tags in bulk Duplicating Pages Setting up a release and/or expiration date See where a Page is used Moving Pages to the trash Editing a Page Navigate to the Library tab, Assets & Experiences on the Online Platform. Click All Pages in the left side menu. Use the Tags, Locale, and Author filters to quickly find the Page you're looking for.Select the Page to open the details pane. Click Edit Page. Make your desired edits in the Page Builder and save your changes. Remember that if you save changes to a Page already added to Experiences, the edits will be published immediately, and users can see the changes. Back to Top Editing Page tags in bulk To edit Page tags, navigate to your Assets & Experiences tab and select All Pages from the left side menu. Check the Page or Pages you'd like to edit. For a single Page, click the pencil icon next to the tags field. If you've selected multiple Pages, click Edit. Search for Tags you want to add to the selected Pages, or create a new Tag. You can delete Tags by clicking the minus icon. Click Apply to update the Tag selections. Back to Top Duplicating Pages Navigate to the Assets & Experiences tab in the Library and select All Pages from the left side menu. To duplicate a single Page, click it to open the asset details pane. Click the three dot menu, then select Duplicate Page. If you wish to duplicate multiple pages simultaneously, check the boxes for Pages you want to duplicate, then click Duplicate. If you duplicate a single Page, you can edit the name. When duplicating Pages in bulk, you will have to edit the names individually after duplicating them. They will be automatically prepended with 'Copy of' before the Page name, followed by the date and time it was duplicated. If applicable, select which Division you want to duplicate the Page to. An error message will appear to let you know if you've tried to duplicate a page to a Division where some of the assets in the Page aren't available. In this case, assets will be removed from the Page. You can duplicate a Page to another Division, but not another account. Click Duplicate. If you duplicated the Pages in bulk, you can now go to the new Page and edit the name. Click the Page to open the asset details pane, then hover over the name and click the edit icon. Change the name, then click Save. Back to Top Setting up a release and/or expiration date For one Page: Select the Page for which you want to set a release and expiry date. Under the Properties tab, click on the Availability settings. Select a release and expiry date and click Save. For various Pages in bulk: Select your Pages and click Edit. Under the File life cycle, select a release and expiry date.Remember that the content will be released/expired at the start of your chosen day, using the time zone set for your account. Back to Top See where a Page is used Navigate to the Assets & Experiences tab in the Library and select All Pages from the left menu. To learn where a Page is used within your Showpad instance, select it to open the asset details pane, then click the Info tab. The Used in section lists two locations where the Page is used: Experiences and Homepages. The number before a location indicates how many places contain the Page in your Showpad instance. Locations where the Page is not used are grayed out and unclickable. Experiences Click Experiences to see Experiences in the Divisions you are promoted to, which may be less than the total number of Experiences. The following details are displayed: Experience, Node Name, Division, and Type. You can sort the columns by Experience Name. To view the path to the Page within the Experience, click the information icon next to the Node Name. If you have permission to manage Experiences, you can click an Experience or Classic Experience Node Name to go directly to the Experience. This will open the Experience Builder in a new browser tab. Homepages Click Homepages to see Homepages in the Divisions you are promoted to, which may be less than the total number of Homepages. You can sort the columns by Name, Division, or Status. Back to Top Moving Pages to the Trash To delete a Page, navigate to the Library tab, Assets & Experiences on the Online Platform. Expand the Pages section on the left menu and select All Pages. Click the Page you want to delete to open the asset details pane. Click the three dot menu and select Move to trash. To delete multiple Pages at once, check the box for each Page then click Move to trash. A message will confirm that you want to move these Pages to the trash. Click Move to Trash if you are sure. If you need to restore a Page, click Trash from the Pages menu on the left side of the Assets & Experiences tab. Open the details pane for the Page you want to restore. Click the three dot menu, then click Restore or Permanently Delete. To restore Pages in bulk, check the box for each Page, then click Restore.
