Courses structured with the coaching tools and content necessary to uplevel your teams help keep users on the cutting edge of their organization's offerings. It also empowers them to retain strong skills through continued education.
Working through this episode should take approximately 90 to 120 minutes depending on how extensive you would like your courses and paths to be.
Configure courses for your users
As you begin to create your first course, you will need to determine certain setting configurations. Some of these details pertain to the basics such as the title and a brief description of the course.
In order to assess your learner’s gauge of the sales training initiatives, you will want to provide them with the necessary learning materials. Showpad Coach offers a wide array of options for creating, uploading, and distributing this information to sales teams. Here we will take a quick exploration of what these are before you dive in. Before you start, configure the toggle settings determining what learners can and can’t do with the content you’re providing them.

Add content that educates your users
After choosing the settings, you will want to add content that will make up the learning portion of the course. This can be done in various ways, including uploading assets from the content Library to creating content natively within the course. Utilize webcam, audio recording, and more to customize your course in an engaging way for users. Content can be used in multiple courses which saves you the time of manually creating new content in each course. With all these options to tailor your courses to your needs, you can ensure your organization is equipped with the best resources to keep your users at the top of their game.

Test your users
To properly assess that users are retaining the information from the Learn section of Showpad Coach, it's helpful to create tests related to the content they just went through. This can highlight gaps in the course content or specific users who may need additional education. You are able to choose what type of test best suits your agenda as well as configure settings related to scoring and certifications. Tests can be created in advance and uploaded or simply built directly in the Online Platform.

Using paths to organize training initiatives
Paths are designed to guide users through courses and offline tasks. This can include onboarding new employees, completing skill or product certifications, workflow training, and more. Creating and assigning paths gives a more structured setup so users can take part in all facets of the training process from absorbing information to completing activities to taking assessments.
