Going from Showpad to Showpad Content
Enhanced user experience on the Showpad Content platform
Showpad's new integrated platform makes it even easier for sales reps to discover, present, and share the appropriate collateral for each prospect.
This section was written to prepare you for the upcoming changes to the Showpad Content solution. Here you find all relevant information on what’s being updated to help improve your selling experience using Showpad.
Note: These exciting new features and updates will be available on Showpad's Web app first.
Accompanying this release we will also release an updated version of our iOS app. Updates to our other mobile apps will come in a later release.
The following video walks you through the most important updates that are coming your way. You can download the video and a PDF that explains the updates at the bottom of this article.
What features are new
- A company logo on the login screen
- A new Home Screen
- Spotlight messages from your admins
- Recommendations that show content relevant to you
What features will be updated
- The Content tab groups the existing Present and Personalize tabs
All the details
If your admin uploaded a company logo, you will see it on the updated login screen. Use the slider on the image to visually uncover this update.
As a Showpad Content user, you will see a new Home Screen instead of jumping straight into the Present tab after signing in. The Home Screen gives you two discovery types: active and passive.
- Active discovery: you can type in the search bar and search for specific content.
- Passive discovery: you are presented new content in the Spotlight and Recommendation sections of the Home Screen.
Spotlight messages allow your admins to push highlights to your home screen. This is similar to an announcement as it is a direct communication from the marketing team to your team. You can scroll through the various highlights by clicking the arrow.
With recommendations, you will see content that is relevant to you. This can be a new experience to which you were assigned, an experience that you never used and can be relevant, an updated asset, a trending asset, etc. You will have your personal set of 8 recommendations.
The Content tab will merge both the Present and Personalize tabs. This way, you will have all the content, provided by the Marketing team and your own files, in one single place. Use the slider on the image to visually uncover the new tab layout.
iOS app updates for Showpad Content
When opening the new iOS App for Showpad Content, you will notice some minor layout updates. Below, you can find how it will look like on the iPhone version of our iOS app. These changes will be reflected in the iPad version as well.
The current Present tab will now be the Experiences tab. This is where you will find all your experiences, which encompasses what is currently known as classic channels and advanced experiences.
The My Content tab is where you will find your Collections and My Files. Not much will look different here, besides the name on the navigation menu.
