All the details
Your users are going to experience a sleek and easy-to-use Home Screen for their training and coaching. Display Spotlight messages on your learner’s new Home Screen so they know what’s important right off the bat.
Under the Spotlights, users will see the Recommended for you section. The recommendations are based on individual users. Users will see up to 8 recommendations at any time. The asset tile will show the title of the asset and the description of the asset, if available.
Use the slider on the image to visually uncover this exciting update for your learners.

Your learners will be able to see how much time is remaining in their course and paths, so they can determine ideal periods to work on their assignments.
You, as an admin, will determine the estimated time to completion for each course component in the course summary section during course creation. The total time to completion will be automatically calculated for the course by adding up the times from each section.
In the case of paths, it adds up the course and task time to completion to produce the path’s total time to completion. Task time to completion is set by you, as the admin.
Divisions for more complex organizations
Some organizations have to separate courses and learners based on language, product line, or business unit. With divisions, you will have flexibility in managing learning initiatives and assets for more complex organizations. Learning assets in one division are not available in others unless specified. Reporting can be filtered out by division for easier insight into data of various areas of an organization.

A more cohesive interface makes it easier to manage coaching and training.
Admins will be able to upload content into a central repository to make it easy to reuse content in multiple courses without manually uploading them every time.
Content that is added during course creation will also be saved to the content library. Authored content and voice-over assets are excluded from this.
Adding tags will help organize content and make it easier to locate and reuse in other courses. Learn more about this feature.
With Showpad Coach, admins can send announcements directly to their users. They will have the option to send to specific user groups, and they can set the announcements to trigger at a specific time. A log of past announcements is accessible in the at any time.

The updated course creation tool will still look familiar to admins, but we’ve added some bonus functionality to help make courses more flexible. This includes a short answer panel, due dates for panelists, and the option to add a custom course cover image.

Admins and managers will grade short answer questions and review pitch submissions by clicking the appropriate tiles in the My Assignments section under the Coaching tab. When learners are assigned to the panel for peer reviews, they will see their pitches awaiting review here as well.
Pitches awaiting review will be shown with their respective due dates. Clicking these tiles will bring users to the pitch where they can view and offer coaching and feedback.
Similar to PitchIQs, you will see all tests awaiting grading in the Tests to Grade section.
Click the tiles to review and score tests, as well as provide optional feedback.

The new panel options for PitchIQ grading still allows for auto-assigning peers as well as setting rolling due dates for the panelists to complete their review.

It’s important to offer versatility in permission levels so organizations are not in positions where they are granting either too much or not enough access to certain internal team members. When promoting members, admins can select more granular permission levels depending on what responsibilities that member carries. Managers will also be able to be promoted and require certain additional permissions to manage course content.
Bulk Actions (formerly known as Automation)
We’ve made some changes to what Bulk Actions can do for admins. Now it’s possible to bulk edit courses status and reminder days. We are removing PitchIQ panel management and curriculum management publish dates from the automation feature.
With the new platform, the Manager role is gaining new and more powerful capabilities to help them stay engaged with their teams. Instead of utilizing the reporting tab that you as an admin have access to, managers will receive user insights and breakdowns for every course or path that their groups are assigned to. Changes that may be beneficial for you to train managers on include updated short answer grading and pitch review experiences, as well as the ability to reset tests and pitches.

Support for multiple SSO providers
The newly released platform will provide support for multiple single sign-on providers in one instance. This means that customers with de-centralized teams or other reasons to utilize more than one SSO provider cross-company can now configure all of their providers into Showpad Coach for easier user management and login flows. This will include support for providers like Okta, PingOne, and Azure AD.

The original checklist feature is now reconceptualized as Paths for learners. This is to help revamp the organizational structure, optimize search, and fully support the learner’s journey through required assignments and discovery of optional learning.

Various provisioning options have a new set up flow
The multitude of ways you add your organization's users into LearnCore, such as SFTP and SCIM, will also be available to you in Showpad.
SCIM is best used as a real-time way to create and remove users and groups from your third party identity management system. SCIM updates data on a per-change basis, for immediate accuracy. In Showpad, you can easily generate an API token to make this connection possible.

Easily create users and groups as part of a daily sync between your SFTP server and Showpad using SFTP Provisioning. This option is particularly useful with organizations for high volumes of users. The sync runs once a day, typically in the early morning, and helps keep one record of truth as you cannot edit your groups and users within Showpad when the SFTP sync is enabled.
Learn more about enabling SFTP Provisioning.
To quickly import high volumes users at once into Showpad, such as in your implementation stage, it can be handy to upload a CSV file of your user base.

The option to add custom logos in the Web app, admin header, and on certificates will no longer be available. Custom backgrounds at login and in the app will not be available.
Curriculums will still be available on the admin side as a tool (similar to a folder) to organize courses but learners will not view the curriculums on their end.
In order to provide admins more flexibility in how they use their data, we are removing the user metadata export function in favor of organization’s leveraging their own preferred third-party options to mix and match information.
In order to simplify the process of User Management, we are removing group categories in favor of user groups (the main unit of user manage and course & path assignment).

Syncing to Showpad (functionality of the v1 integration)
Now that LearnCore becomes Showpad Coach, we have removed the option to sync courses to Showpad because these functions will be all in one tool.
