Configuring Shared Spaces notifications Updated November 07, 2023 07:00 Email notifications and reminders keep everyone informed of what's going on in the Shared Spaces they are involved in. As an external participant in a Shared Space, you can receive notifications when someone new joins, new content is added, or new comments are made. Internal participants have the same notification options, with the addition of a participant activity summary.With a Mutual Action Plan enabled, all participants can receive email notifications about their Next Step action items, what actions have been completed, and a reminder about the next steps to take. Note: If a participant wants to leave the Shared Space, it is advised to Revoke Access to that participant instead of disabling the Shared Space notifications. Click the link on the bottom to adjust your email preferences and log into Showpad. If you're already in the Shared Space, navigate to the three dots in the top right menu and select My Preferences. External participants can also follow the link from their email or click their profile in the top right to access the preferences. Each type of email notification has a toggle that you can turn on or off. Participant Visit Summary: When toggled on, you will receive a summary of participants' actions during a session. New Joiner Updates: When toggled on, you will receive a notification every time a new participant joins the Shared Space. Comments: When toggled on, you will receive notifications about new comments in the Shared Space. You can also select to be notified for only @mentions and your active threads or all comments. If the Shared Space has a Mutual Action Plan enabling Next Steps, there are two email notifications and one reminder that you can turn on or off. Next Steps: My action items: When toggled on, you will receive email notifications about updates to the Next Step action items assigned to you. Next Steps: Completed actions: When toggled on, you will receive email notifications when each Next Step action item is complete. Next Steps: Reminder: When toggled on, each time you access the Shared Space, a reminder pop-up will show you an action completion summary and remind you of the Next Steps.
