Questions and answers
Q: Is there a risk my data will be lost?
A: No. Our process takes a full and complete copy of all of your data and moves it to a new database. In the event any data is lost, we retain the original copy and can roll back if necessary.
Q: Should I expect any change in the data or Coach experience?
A: No. Since the process takes a full and complete copy, no changes will be made to any data or information.
Q: What will happen if Showpad encounters an issue with this move?
A: With this move, we have the ability to revert the change within minutes if an adverse scenario is encountered. Since the process will take a copy of the original data, our rollback procedure will simply revert to the original data source.
Q: How has Showpad tested this process?
A: Our engineering and quality assurance teams have been testing the procedure using a variety of sample accounts in order to ensure we have full coverage of all possible scenarios. We have validated both the data once copied and the experience for the end-user to ensure data integrity and functionality.
Q: Why does Showpad require a support user for maintenance?
During our maintenance window, our team will make use of a support user to validate the stability, correctness, and performance in your organization.
Q: Will my organization's data be impacted or changed?
Our team will not make any changes to your organization's settings, users, or content.
Q: Will Showpad require a support user for every maintenance operation?
There are a limited amount of maintenance operations that require our team to access a support user. You will be notified ahead of time if we need support user access.
