Share Showpad content using the email integration with Marketo Updated September 15, 2023 20:31 Include Showpad content as dynamic links in your Marketo email templates and campaigns to gain better visibility into individual recipient engagement. When a lead interacts with content they received, the activity will track to the lead owner’s email address, if they have a Showpad account. If the lead doesn’t have an owner with a Showpad email address, the activity will link to the Showpad account of the person who sent the link. Each recipient of the share receives a unique link to allow for tracking activity per recipient. The unique dynamic link includes variables to detect the lead or prospect's email address, as well as the lead owner’s email address. Something to note when viewing shares in Marketo: unless you add "firstName" and "lastName" query parameters, a Marketo share will show as "Someone viewed ..." without identifying the user. To do this, add the following to the URL, after Address. So, ?emailAddress={{lead.Email Address}}&sender={{lead.Lead Owner Email Address}} becomes ?emailAddress={{lead.Email Address}}&sender={{lead.Lead Owner Email Address}}&firstName={{lead.First Name}}&lastName={{lead.Last Name}} Note: If you add the email address of another user in the sender parameter instead of the Lead Owner one, the other user must have access to all the content shared to be able to see the lead activity in their Share insights. If not, the activity will appear on the Lead Owner Insights.
