A new way to learn from real and relevant sales scenarios
With the countless sales conversations taking place within your organization each day, valuable information and training opportunities often slip through the cracks. Using MeetingIQ to capture sales conversations will make it easier to coach reps on their sales performance and identify gaps, as well as help them save time and be more engaged by removing the need to take notes during calls. As a marketing admin, you will gain beneficial sales intelligence and a better understanding of what’s top of mind for your customers.
With MeetingIQ, Showpad will essentially invite a bot to sales conversations like a fly on the wall, recording and transcribing the conversation down to a who-said-what level. In the new Meetings tab, users will find their upcoming and past meeting recordings, as well as meetings for anyone else in their assigned group. This means users can learn from their own conversations as well as their teammates.
For your sales reps, using MeetingIQ is as easy as inviting the bot as an attendee when setting up calendar invites. The bot will show up to the sales meeting to record and transcribe the conversation. Each attendee will have their own speaker notes for the meeting so you’ll even know who’s saying what. Meetings can be downloaded as MP4’s or shared within Showpad. This feature will be available in English only.
To save time, users can also choose to sync Showpad with their Google Calendar. This means all scheduled meetings with an external participant and valid meeting link will invite the bot and be listed in Showpad as an upcoming meeting automatically. If the meeting doesn’t have a valid video meeting link, the user who set up the meeting will receive an email about the mistake. MeetingIQ will initially be compatible with Zoom, GoToMeeting, and Webex.
By selecting any meeting in the Past Meetings tab, users will be able to watch the recording and view the transcript. In the top menu, you will find the option to share the meeting or download it as an MP4. Advanced search capabilities will make it easy to find specific keywords or topics, and jump to that part of the transcription.
To view any specific part of the transcription, click the play icon. Keep in mind that if a user joins the meeting on their personal device, their name will be captured, however if multiple attendees join from a conference room, their individual names will not be reflected.
Things to consider
In the initial steps of preparing yourself as an admin for MeetingIQ, it will be helpful to think about how you want to assign your users. MeetingIQ can be enabled for all Showpad users, or you can select specific groups. For example, you can create one group for all the users you want to enable MeetingIQ for, and simply enable it for that one group. In that scenario, all the users who use MeetingIQ can see everyone’s meetings. Another route would be to assign users by their team, so they only see their teammate’s meetings. There are no division-specific permissions related to MeetingIQ.
The logistics upon release
Once you have access to MeetingIQ, you will find the option to enable it in your Admin Settings under the Features menu. This is where you can turn the feature on, select who you wish to enable it for, and even change the name of your Bot. This is also where you can define Topics, which are groups of keywords specific to your business. These topics can be used to count the frequency of their mentions, and they also allow for quick navigation in recordings.
MeetingIQ is coming soon to help you to make your organization’s sales conversations smarter and more engaging, so you can provide an even more stellar buyer experience.
