Exploring asset Info and user Feedback Updated July 03, 2024 15:44 Accessing asset information gives you valuable data about where the asset is being used. Adding comments to assets in Showpad is a great way for users and admins to share feedback. It opens a dialogue between marketing and sales to see if assets are still relevant or can be improved. Sales users can provide public and private feedback via Public Comments that are visible to all users Private Feedback that is only visible to admins Likes See how it looks Key features View asset information Add public comments about an asset Remove irrelevant comments Act upon private user feedback See the number of likes of an asset Do this step by step Viewing asset information Go to your content library and click the asset you want to view. Click the Info tab. See the History of the asset on the left side. It displays the information of when the asset was added, last uploaded, and last updated. On the right side, you can see where the asset exists. Viewing a single asset from this perspective lets you understand in which Experiences and Courses it's being used. Read more about External ID here. Read more about App Link here. Using asset comments Go to your content library and click the asset you want to add a comment to. Click the Comments tab. Enter your comment text here and hit Enter. Deleting a comment Go to your content library and click the asset you want to delete a comment from. Click the Comments tab in the asset information panel. When prompted, click the Delete button of the comment you want to delete and confirm. Seeing private feedback Feedback is provided privately by users. It's similar to comments but only visible to admins. Go to your content library and click the asset you want to add a comment to. Click the Feedback tab. You can mark the feedback as resolved or dismiss it if no further actions are required. Feedback will still be visible and marked as resolved or dismissed. The user who submitted the private feedback will receive an email notification. View Comments, Likes, and Feedback from the Dashboard The Dashboard in the Online Platform will give you instant access to the most recent Comments, Likes, and Feedback. Access the Dashboard by signing in to the Online Platform or clicking Dashboard, My Dashboard. You will see the Recent File Comments at the bottom of your board. You can directly send your replies from here by clicking the Comment button marked in green. Alternatively, you can view the users' most recent Comments, Likes, and Feedback by clicking Dashboard, Recent Activities. Here you can sort by Activity Types, Authors, and Divisions to view the most recent activities of the last 30 days. Seeing the number of likes In the content library, you can also see the number of likes an asset received. This can give you an idea of which assets are popular among sales reps. Go to your content library and click the gear icon to ensure the likes column is visible. Order by the number of likes by clicking the arrows.
