Any organization uploads and maintains considerable amounts of content into Showpad. Administrators manage all this content in Showpad and need to be able to quickly pull up relevant and related content.
This can be done with the use of filters and more specifically asset tags. Asset tags are labels you can attach, to group, manage and find assets quickly. You can even use tags to automatically push assets into so-called Smart Folders the moment you upload them.
In case you're using Divisions, it is important to know that tags are added separately and are not transferred automatically to all divisions.
For example, you can use tags to categorize your content based on:
- Type of document
- Product range
Once you’ve tagged your assets, you’ll be able to display all assets that share one or more tags and create Smart Folders that pull in assets with matching tags.
