Create a filter to effectively organize content Updated July 03, 2024 15:44 All content that you upload to Showpad is placed in the Content Library. As your content library grows, you may need to organize your content to make it easier to find specific content. This is where filters can be extremely effective. With filters, you can instantly find related assets based on file type, specific properties, tags, and source. You can also use filters to create photo albums. And finally, you can use saved filters to configure Smart Folders. If your organization uses Divisions, click the relevant Division. Select the filter criteria by clicking the filter icon. Keep adding filter properties if needed. File Type: select which type of assets you want to display. Select as many filters as you would like. If none are chosen, it will display all results by File Type. Property: select the required properties filtered assets should have. Tag: select which tags the filtered assets should or shouldn’t have. Match ALL shows all the content that have all specified tags. If you add two tags, assets that have those two tags will be visible. Match ANY shows the content tagged with any of the specified tags. Match NONE will exclude all content with any of the provided tags. Source: select which sources should be included in your filter. If your organization works with Divisions, you can, for example, filter out assets that do not appear in your library. However, when selecting All sources or Other division libraries, you will only see assets from other divisions if those assets were set up as globally available. Locale: select which languages and/or countries the filtered assets should or shouldn’t have. Match ALL shows all the content that have all the specified criteria. If you add two languages, assets that have those two options will be visible. Match ANY shows the content tagged with any of the specified countries or languages. Match NONE will exclude all content with any of the provided criteria. Author: select which content authors to filter content by. You can Select All, multiple entries, or none. If none of the boxes are checked, all authors will be included in your filter. When you’re ready, click the Save Filter button. Enter the name of your filter. Click the Save button. Your filter is now displayed in the Saved Filters list. To apply a filter, select it from the Saved Filters list.
