Select translation languages

Note: This article is about the new beta Admin App, which is still in development. Changes may occur. Please provide feedback directly in the beta app.

The content in your Libraries is tailored to the local language of each region you distribute it to. As an admin, you can choose the languages that align with your users and the primary demographics of your target markets. The selected languages translate Showpad features such as asset summaries, video captions, tags, and tag categories. Setting the translation languages improves understanding. It also boosts search by handling queries in many languages.

Do this step by step

Set your organization’s preferred languages. Then, enable AI video captions, tag translations, and asset summaries on the AI Settings page in Admin Settings. Captions, tags, and asset summaries will be translated into your selected languages.

1. Navigate to Settings and select Localization from Admin Settings menu.
2. Click Enabled languages to reveal options and view languages (if already set).
3. Enter a preferred language in the field and check it to select it. Then, check all the languages into which you want tags, video captions, and asset summaries translated.
