Guide to create templates with the Automated Content Builder app Updated September 25, 2024 19:47 The Automated Content Builder (ACB) app enables the creation of documents and presentations tailored to prospects' context and industry-specific needs. Customer data automatically integrates into marketing-approved templates to create impactful, personalized content in seconds. Templates are Microsoft PowerPoint or Microsoft Word documents that contain placeholders. Google Slides or Docs directly imported to the Library from Drive will automatically be converted to PPTX or DOCX format when used in the Automated Content Builder. The template’s placeholders are linked to preconfigured data nodes. These nodes serve as connectors that retrieve the data required for the template. When a user creates a document from a template, the data retrieved is automatically inserted into the document's placeholders. This saves time and effort in creating tailored presentations and enforces brand standards. We currently support Salesforce Object Query and external token-based API that returns JSON or Binary (used for images). Data Stores They are table-like components used to pull text and asset data from Showpad and can be used in data nodes. Secrets They are used to store confidential data, such as API keys, Tokens, etc. They are held in a secure and encrypted storage solution in the Automated Content Builder’s back-end and avoid having to configure these confidential data in plaintext.
