To effectively manage your content, it’s essential to know where and how often each asset is used. The Used in section in the asset details pane lets you see how content is used and distributed within your Showpad instance. With this information, you can confidently make important decisions about the assets in your library. If your organization uses Divisions, select the relevant Division. From the Assets & Experiences tab, select an asset to open the details pane. Then click the Info tab. The Used in section lists locations where the asset is used. Locations where the asset is not used are grayed out and unclickable. The number before a location indicates how many places contain the asset in your Showpad instance. Click on a location to view more detailed information. Experiences Pages Homepages Courses Back to Top Experiences Click Experiences in the Used in section. Listed are the Experiences in the Divisions you are promoted to, which may be less than the total number of Experiences. The list includes Experiences with Pages that contain the asset. The following details are displayed: Experience, Node Name, Division, and Type. You can sort the columns by Experience Name. Note: An Experience may be listed more than once if the asset is in different nodes in the same Experience. To view the path to the asset within the Experience, click the information icon next to the Node Name. If you have permission to manage Experiences, click the name of an Experience to open it in the Experience Builder. This will open a new browser tab. You can continue your workflow in your initial tab while viewing where an asset is located in the Experience Builder tab. If an Experience is Classic, and you have permission to manage Experiences, you can click a Node Name to go directly to the node containing the asset within the Experience. This will open the Experience Builder in a new browser tab. On your initial browser tab, click OK to close the modal. Back to Top Pages Click Pages in the Used in section. Listed are the Pages in the Divisions you are promoted to, which may be less than the total number of Pages. You can sort the columns by Name or Division. If there is an ARCHIVED label next to the Page name, the Page can be found in the Page trash. Click on a Page name to open the details pane of the Page in a new browser tab. On the new tab, click the Page’s thumbnail to open a preview of the Page. Scroll through the Page to locate the asset. Click the X in the upper right corner to close the preview. On your initial tab, click OK to close the modal. Back to Top Homepages Click Homepages in the Used in section. Listed are the Homepages in the Divisions you are promoted to, which may be less than the total number of Homepages. You can sort the columns by Name, Division, or Status. Click OK to close the modal. Back to Top Courses Click Courses in the Used in section. Listed are the Courses in the Divisions you are promoted to, which may be less than the total number of Courses. You can sort the columns by Name, Division, or Status. Click on a Course name to open a new browser tab to the Course details pane in the Coach Library. On the new tab, click the thumbnail for the course to locate the asset in a preview. The Course preview will open in a new browser tab. Or click Edit Course to open the Course and locate the asset. On your initial tab, click OK to close the modal.
