Guide to question-based analytics Updated June 24, 2024 17:20 With question-based analytics dashboards, Showpad aims to give valuable data into what your users are doing with Showpad with specific insights. We want to answer these questions and more with the option to toggle on new deal data and analytics reporting. Question-based analytics ask strategic questions and offer insights with actual data. First, make sure to toggle the new reporting switch on to greet your new possibilities: Note: When this toggle is active, the Reports tab in the Online Platform is renamed to Analytics. For this example, we will choose: What are users looking for? Your dashboard will reveal the answers with up-to-date data on each distinct category. Tips and tricks Here are some helpful tips to know when working with these reports: When it comes to shares, these reports take into account content that was shared through email shares, link shares, and Shared Spaces. When you see a tip box indicated with a lightbulb, these are personalized recommendations on terms, tips, and tricks designed for your specific set of users by data they input themselves. A session is logged whenever a user opens the Showpad app. In question-based reporting, sessions are defined differently and more objectively than in previous Showpad reports. Here, we consider a session as a series of user events, and we only consider a new session if there was 30 minutes of inactivity time on the user’s side. In traditional reports, we count every time a user switches between Showpad and another application as a session. Reports that include industry benchmarks are derived from our actual customer base and are based on the related industry and the number of employees from that Showpad instance. We aggregate usage across your industry and compare that to the overall performance. At the top of each dashboard, click the Export icon and choose to print or generate a PDF of full or filtered data, or view all of your PDF exports. At the bottom of each dashboard, click the three dot menu and choose to export full sets of data or filtered sets to Excel or a CSV document.
